There are a lot of zero waste kitchen supplies out there and the cost of fully stocking your home can definitely add up. I live on a teacher’s salary, so I realize that even though going zero waste in the kitchen will save you money in the long run, it’s not always possible to go all-in right away. So if you’re going to start anywhere, start here.
Before I list my picks, I have to address the elephant in the room: why am I linking products from Amazon if I live a zero waste lifestyle? Amazon = boxes, plastic, packing slips, and all the things we’re avoiding when we’re eliminating waste. As someone who lives in a rural area, ordering online is often my only option. But if you are lucky enough to live someplace where you can find these things locally, buy them that way! And yes, I do make a small commission if you purchase any of these products because again: teacher’s salary.
